Another lovely view

This hotel room is in the middle of a nine-hole golf course! I did a walk around the perimeter yesterday after we'd finished the meeting for the day and it was very pleasant. I could have gone for a walk on the roads but there was traffic, and dogs ....

This is just out of Nadi, Fiji. Only a short trip - only two days here and a day's travel either side - but Fiji is very central, so if you want to have a meeting with lots of Pacific island representatives then this is the best place to hold it. And very well set up for conferences! We have a golf course because it was a well-priced alternative to lagoons and beaches - and as a good public servant I try not to pick a conference venue that advertises itself as having the world's biggest swim-up bar.
